  I was pleasantly surprised the rooms are all nice in knotty pine big and spacious not only do you have out side entrance your other entrance is inside the hotel , they have great dining serve to our room. Fantastic service.

  The experience was great! Ryan, the front desk was very helpful, accommodating and welcoming. The queen sized bedroom was very spacious and immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was also immaculate. Entire hotel and rooms are very modern and upscale. Definitely worth the price we paid! Onsite restaurant was awesome! Food was well prepared and portions were very good. A definitely must if you are staying here. Have the front desk make reservations for you or walk in during their non peak hours. If you are looking for a luxurious atmosphere after being on the road for a long time, this is the place to go. Parking available in front of your room if you are on the first floor. I highly recommend this motel.

  Pinewood located in Espanola has really good staff and a great restaurant. I go often and it is deffenetly up to standards. Although last visit internet was down for almost half a day which was kinda an inconvenience.

  No thanks!
  I grew up in this wee town and have only eaten here a handful of times.
  Visiting as I am tonight, I met friends for dinner.
  We started of with a perplexing wine menu - all of the 'good wines' were only available by the bottle - not great for the only wine drinker at the table. My choices were house Chardonnay, Merlot, or Rose. No actual brands.
  That was strike one.
  Strike two was the quality of the merlot available; it tasted like a 'you brew' that was bottled last week.
  So we ordered appetizers: escargot ($2 extra for cheese apparently) and soggy, cold mushroom caps served with a side of sour cream and that shakey parmesan from the green can.
  Too late to bail, strike three - since I already ordered, was my my main: spaghetti and meatballs.
  Well, if you've read this far, I'm sure you're seeing a trend.
  The pasta was likely a boxed version, certainly overcooked, and served with the most bland tomato sauce I've ever been served. The meatballs (two) were about two inches in diameter and unseasoned as much, if not more, than the sauce.
  I asked for hot sauce for flavour - which did nothing to jazz up this unpaletable pile.
  The only redeeming thing about this mess was the cost - $14.99 it is not the most I've paid for a horrible meal.
  Don't get me started on my companions dishes.
  My recommendation: not the escargot, or mushroom caps; not the spaghetti, not the fish and chips, not the prime rib and not the chicken mushroom melt.
  I'm just going to say don't eat here.

  The rooms are okay, the wifi sucks, the shower does not work properly and is not very clean, has old tube tvs that should be upgraded and the pulp smell from the factory is nauseating!!
